Description
This is breaking my heart! This is the first lens I ever bought. I saved and saved. That was 30 years ago. Soon after I bought a Rollei system and so rarely used my Contax. But I loved this glass and it grieves me to see it go. But go it will. I have used it again recently on my Canon. It is great but hard to focus at 1.4. It is not a lens for shoddy photographers! Great for candle light. It comes with the adapter and a lens shade. It IS the German built lens, by the way. The condition is not great. This lens is 30 years old! There is some dust between the elements. Don't ask me how it gets there! Some very faint marks/scratches on the front element. None of this makes a difference to the lens. When you get it in focus it is sharp. Like most Zeiss it benefits from stopping down a stop or two. You will love this lens. But ask question before bidding. I will not accept returns. Sorry.
